Your purpose came from God and is perfectly ordained for you. God knew everything about you when He knit you together in your mother’s womb, so your struggles aren’t a surprise to Him. Perhaps there are parts of you that still need polishing and reconciliation with God, but not things that, once reconciled, will interfere with God’s purpose for your life.

When you have an intimation of what your purpose might be, it can be easy to shrug it off if you feel like you don’t have the resources, the experiences, or even the skill and personality traits to “pull it off”.

GET THEE BEHIND ME, SATAN!

That’s the evil one, knowing he can’t beat you, using really his only tool….discouragement. He can’t beat you so he tries to get you to give up! He is a sniper and has perfect aim. Striking your insecurities is a sure thing. Your perfectionism, your fear, your insecurity, he knows which one to target.

Skills are practice-able, knowledge is google-able, experience is gain-able. The only thing you are missing is belief. But the good news is, the reality that you have a purpose that is real, specific, and customized to you is true whether you believe it or not.
